The Hajós-Baja wine growing area is situated in the Great Hungarian Plain, in southern Hungary on an elevation of the former riverbed of the Danube. It’s the region in Hungary with the most sun hours and the warmest climate. The conditions for red wines are optimal in this region, and the wine makers from Hajós-Baja produce excellent and competitive wines. The town of Hajós is the centre of wine tourism, wine trade, and wine production.
This wine announces itself with a dark red colour with aromas of elderberries, cherry, honey and toffee. The present tannins are soft and perfectly integrated. The elegant and fine sweetness determines the character of this wine which provides a long and fruity finish.
